Indianapolis and the surrounding communities offer a number of attractions.  Residents and visitors enjoy a varied cultural environment with the Eiteljorg Museum, the Indiana State Museum and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.  The Childrens Museum is highly acclaimed and unique.  Restaurants and Craft Beer establishments are plentiful and present a variety of options for an evening on the town.  The Indianapolis Zoo is well known as one of the best privately-funded organizations in the nation.
Sports fans can satisfy their appetite for action with professional football (Colts) and basketball (Pacers) teams as well as professional developmental organizations for baseball (Indians) and hockey (Fuel).  The city also hosts a number of amateur sporting events through the year including training for U.S. Olympic Gymnasts and U.S. Olympic Swim teams.  And every May, the city fills with thousands of race fans for the Indianapolis 500 race, as well as NASCAR’s summer event of the 400 at the Brickyard.
